Will there be honey when the last child leaves?
Amber sweetness spread on Bunny-brand
Bread. Sweet viscous stickiness dropping
Like mercury on granite countertop.

With elbows greased, I scrub hard evidence
Of my daughter’s kitchen misdemeanor.
